Product Review: Snikiddy Sea Salt Vegetable Chips

Posted by: Marissa on Feb. 17, 2012

These chips come in a green bag titled, “Eat your vegetables …one chip at a time”. I have to admit, I’m a huge fan of gourmet chips, so this caught my interest. Snikiddy Vegetable Chips are made from a blend of sweet potatoes, carrots and navy beans. They boast a full serving of vegetables for every one ounce serving (about 13 chips). On top of that, they are vegan, kosher, cholesterol free and all natural.

Ease of Use

Open the bag and munch away!

Appearance

The chips are shaped like pea pods and have an orange-brown color. They have bubbles of texture and look like they have some sort of flavoring powder on them.

Taste and Texture

Snikiddy has created a snack with a light, crisp crunch and a ton of flavor. I had a hard time stopping once I started munching. The light, sweet flavor of sweet potato and carrot blends perfectly with the earthy base of navy bean. The delicate sea salt flavor put the flavor over the top.

Versatility

I would eat them in a house, I would eat them with a mouse… Seriously, I would eat these anywhere, with anything. They are perfect for dipping, topping or crunching up to top a casserole.

Overall Value

The suggested retail price is $3.49-$3.99 for a 4.5 oz. bag. I bought my bag at Costco. It was a huge bag, more expensive, and worth every penny.

Rating

I love these chips! They will be a staple in my house from here on out.
